Refiner’s Fire is rooted in faith in God and in Jesus Christ as Savior and Redeemer. We believe scripture is meant to be read, prayed over, wrestled with, and lived—not merely collected as information. Spiritual growth often comes through refining experiences that test what we believe and reveal where we still need grace, repentance, courage, patience, and change.
The Bible is foundational to the project. Refiner’s Fire also includes the Book of Mormon and other Latter-day Saint Standard Works in clearly identified studies because the project is written from a Latter-day Saint Christian perspective. Bible-only resources remain distinct so readers from other Christian traditions can use them without wondering which scriptural sources are being assumed.
We believe faith and accountability belong together. Trusting God does not mean refusing responsibility for our choices. Prayer does not replace action, and grace does not erase the call to repent, make amends where possible, forgive, seek help, and keep moving forward. Recovery, discipleship, and spiritual growth all require honesty.
We also believe sincere questions are not enemies of faith. Readers are encouraged to study carefully, compare sources, pray, and distinguish between scripture, personal reflection, church teaching, historical claims, and individual interpretation.
Refiner’s Fire is independent. It is not an official publication of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints or any other church or denomination. The materials are offered as devotionals, study aids, worship resources, and personal reflections intended to point people toward Jesus Christ.
